How do you make your clothing?

My one-of-a-kind garments are sourced secondhand from local thrift stores, garage sales, or friend closet cleanouts. They are then embellished with either my hand carved lino cut designs, various secondhand fabric applique elements or some fun combination of the two!

The Pre-Order Collection is made using Everybody World blanks, chosen after much searching for a fully sustainable and ethically made product. They pay their workers a fair and sustainable wage, and use “100% Reclaimed Waste Cotton, made from landfill-destined fibers left over from the yarn manufacturing process.”

What is “ Send in Your Own?”

This option is available to have one of my designs printed/sewn on a shirt that you provide and send in! There are a few guidelines for the shirts that I am able to accept, so please read carefully before you send in your garment! If you have any doubts or questions about the shirt you are sending, you are welcome to email me a photo for approval!

  • The garment must be a similar color and style to my featured design. Since you are purchasing the design as is, I’m not able to change any elements or ink colors so the fabric must be close enough to create the same finished result. For example, if you wanted to send in any garment that was a different color, it must be a very light shade so the ink has enough with the fabric.
  • If the design features any sewn elements, it is best for the garment fabric to be medium-heavyweight in order to support the stitches.
  • You will receive a pre-paid shipping label from me within a week of purchasing the send in your own option! After that all you need to do is package your garment and drop it at USPS. This is not an automated process, so please be patient with me while I process orders :)
  • The estimated production time is 4-8 weeks, starting after I receive your garment.
  • If I haven’t heard from you or received your garment within a month of purchase, your order will be refunded.
  • Please do not send me something that will break your heart if it is lost or stolen! Your label will be pre-insured, but insurance only covers so much. Additionally, my block printing process is extremely hand made and there will be elements of the design that are unique to only your garment, like small ink marks or slight variations in ink shade and consistency. If you are not ok with small “flaws” in the finished product, this option may not be for you.

Do you accept returns or exchanges?

If for some reason you don’t end up loving the item you purchase, you may return it for store credit as long as it is in the same condition as when purchased! Full refunds are only given in the rare case that a garment has an issue that I missed and it is not disclosed in the listing.

Do you do commissions or custom work?

I absolutely love doing customs and am hoping to open some slots again soon so that you can send your pre-loved garments in to be given a new life in your closet.
